All Eyes On...Color Misting

Dawn, owner of Wplus9, asked the design team to make a card using color misting. Truth be told, I don't own ANY of the pretty premade color mists. When the deadline came to make project, I had to make my own. And guess what? It was super fun! I filled my mini mister with water, a few drops each of reinker by Papertrey Ink and Stampin' Up, and a bit of Perfect Pearls. When I sprayed my concoction on white paper, I was pleasantly surprised at the pretty color and results. The Perfect Pearls gave it a beautiful shimmer that my camera didn't pick up, but trust me. It is shimmery. I'm not sure I'll buy any of the premade stuff now. This was much too fun.

WITH HEARTFELT SYMPATHY
Stamps: Wplus9 (Guiding Light)
Ink: Memento, Colorbox, Versamark
Cardstock: Neenah, Papertrey Ink
Ribbon: Stampin' Up!; Die Cut: Papertrey Ink; Border Punch: Fiskars

I'm sure the other designers are much more of an expert on glimmer misting (I'm not hard to beat, as this is my first time EVER), so you should definitely check out their project:

  1. Thanks for sharing the link, but unfortunately it seems to be offline... Does anybody have a mirror or another source? Please reply to my post if you do!

I would appreciate if a staff member here at sherbetblossom.blogspot.com could post it.

    Thanks,
